Izzy Bits Totes

Izzy Bits Purses and Hats

Just finished these little darlings.  The pink one of coarse is for Izzy but the other is for sale at my etsy store.  So check them out and let me know what you think.

Izzy Bits Purses and Hats

The flower on this little tote was easy to make and just required a template.  Just cut two side of each and then sew together with right sides facing then invert and pinch the unfinished base sew again to holed.  Keep adding until you have about 4 then create some leave.  Do the same thing but create a pointer end so that it will stand out. After that I just added a homemade button with some yellow fabric.  There you have it.  A great addition to Easter or for some fun in the sun.

Intruducing IZZY BITS

Inspired by my Granddaughter Izzy

Who wouldn't get inspired by this little sweetie.  Fresh off the sewing table this little reversible hat with matching button and a bit of elastic in the back for a snug fit.

Brim can be worn up or down depending on the sun and how the infant likes to wear it.

I am working on a little purse that will match so stay tuned, I'll be posting sometime this week.

Izzy Bits

I have just finished up a lovely dress created and matching sun hat from a Butterick Pattern 5326 for my Grand Daughter Izzy
Baby cap

Modeled here by my faithful bear is the hat that matches the little set. I am hoping to start combining some of my graphics into clothing and what better place to start then here.  I adore baby clothing (and babies for that matter) A friend of mine told me once that her favorite smells was a baby's head and I totally agree with her.

You will have to excuse my photos this week as it was a particularly hectic week due to all the other duties that life adds to my life.  The little dress shown here was a snap to make.  I am thinking of adding different colors and patters to one dress to make it more eye catching.   I love adding color combinations to create a one of a kind outfit even though the pattern may be a popular one. It is the choice of fabric that creates a unique outfit.
Panties
Yes I have even made the panties that match.  I can't wait until I start sorting other colors to make some more of this type.  So get out your sissors and start cutting.

Piglet

Just listed at Frogs Attic on Etsy

I just could not wait to whip this up!  I adore vintage patterns and thank God this one I did not have any trouble reading.  From start to finish it was a breeze.

The little poseable legs make it just come alive for a pretend tea party or to pose on a shelf.
You can even  remove the little apron if you like!

So head on over to Frogs Etsy
Special thanks goes to MJ for her tireless effort in restoring these timeless wonders that still enchant us today.

1940's Bunny

Just finished up this bunny last week.  Such a sweet little guy.  I used a 1940's pattern and some 1930's  fabric (a great place to get this at a $1 per quarter yard is franks11 on ebay.  The pattern can be purchased at MJ Vintage Patterns) But for all of you who don't sew I am offering this little sweetie on my etsy for purchase.
I love making these little animals and hopefully you all love them as well.  Thanks so much for dropping by.
